Sidepower thruster time out

On the joystick on the bow thruster, I press two buttons simultaneously to power the system but it only stays powered up for a minute or so. Having quite a tight mooring, quite often I have to fumble to repower it up at the most inopportune times.

Does anyone know if there is the ability to adjust the 'Time out' on these units?

You sure it is only a minute? Timed it? ?Mine at least three and more like 5. Perhaps give sidepower a call. I just give mine a dab if i think time is ticking on.

As per the manual:

If original Side-Power panel is used, the panel shuts off automatically approx 6-9 minutes after last use.

Not a word about changing the time.

Definitely only 60-90 seconds ?

Mine is only about 1 - 2 minutes.
