Side bed versus centre bed

Our first mobo had an offset , as others have said it didn’t really occur to us in the bigger gen buying equation, the relative pros + cons .

How ever having had one once it did loom up the “must haves “ list ( to avoid it and go for centre island ) on the 2 nd .

Also enough standing space at the foot so both of you can easily get dressed , flinging arms / legs etc and separate his / hers lockers / wardrobes .Another refinement no carpet , natural wood flat floors instead .

Having said all this realise it mighty difficult to get the above in under 12 m ……14 m upwards a whole new volume opens up .

I think an offset bed is one of those things you put up with at first and then it becomes a real niggle.
I‘ll add to the discussion that two single duvets made it far better for us
I’ll also add a pic as an example from the sales brochure of my S37

Yes ours is like that now, hubby struggle to get past door on his side as it stands and for of ends up shuffling up. This is the one we are buying dont have her yet so please excuse bed. bed jpeg.jpg
