Hi All,

I,m on the look out for 6 new shroud anchor points. The ones i have a the moment are a flat plate with a single hole triangle welded upright.
These are twin bolted through deck with large backing plate.

The design is fine but i feel the thickness is a bit under size and a couple of the holes have elongated.

Will probably have some custom made but was just seeing if there is a supplier out there showing a possible selection.
Was also looking at u bolts with deck plates if people have any thoughts on this route.

All for a Contest 29.

TIA, Rich.

Plenty of stock U bolts but the legs may not be t the same centres as the holes in the deck. Have not seen any stock plates with welded on tangs such as you describe. Not difficult to get custom made.

Blue Wave Stainless Steel A-Bolt

I fitted these on my boat and they're really good quality. I had to go from 8mm to 10mm so the hole diameters matched but now they're a lot stronger.
I fitted 300mmx50mmx5mm long stainless steel straps underneath instead of the normal plates supplied.
