Shower of Herrings - Melfort Pier, Loch Melfort.

Mooring bouys, pier access with shower, water etc available; 10 minute walk through lovely countryside to the estate village where new friendly owners of the restaurant are providing interesting food at reasonable prices.

Worth a look at the cracking purpose built harbour for dayboats at the timeshare apartments built beside the pier.

I think it's actually Shower of Herring - the plural of herring is herring, unless maybe they're red?
