I have the chance to buy a 32 foot motor cruiser straight from the Madrid Boat show, does anyone have any thoughts on buying the show boat after all those and us lovely visitors have been crawling over it for 5 days, and more importantly what deal do you think should be available

Any thoughts and comments would be appreciated....

at least 10% even for a very popular newly-launched boat with a waiting list. Otherwise start just short of a moderately-insulting 20%. Which means a rounded 19% below asking, imho.

Go with the 20%, off the gross price.

I was bored last Tuesday and went into a SoF Cranchi dealer and negotiated 10% off the only Endurance 33 that they have left on their quota for this year..and GOT them to switch with another dealer's allocation for May delivery Only condition was making it available for use at Cannes Boat Show in September...
THERFORE that 10% was the value to the dealer of a show boat ( try and get a discounted ££ for delivery anywhere outside Italy ..you won'tthis year I suggest). If I was a real buyer I'm sure I'd have got more.

For those used to my rantings , NO, I didn't buy it and that dealer seemed to be the only one I hadn't previously met !!
