I think they are excellent boats, but I'm biased I've got one. Accomodation is a bit spartan, 4 good sized berths but little else. Performance excellent and very seaworthy, been round Portland in a 6 in mine on its delivery trip and it easily keeps up with much larger monos, saw 14 kts on the log on the same trip. I work on 6-8 Kts for passage speed, not many 24ft boats you can say that about. All the advantages of shoal draft and few of the disadvantages of shoal monos, poor upwind performance of bilgge keelers? Strider properly set up (not club version) as close winded as most fin keel monos.
