Shotley shindig Saturday 18th April

Sounds like you all had a great time although I'll bet the contingent from the west were glad when the bash up the Wallet was over!
One year we'll get ourselves organised early enough to get there too.
I was scheduled to inhabit the Crouch and Roach next weekend in company with the other two scallywags from ECP but I'm still fiddling with bits of my boat that don't work, so we've slipped it a fortnight and hope to be over there for May 9th-12th if anyone is around.

Thanks to Alan for organising the event. It was good to meet some of the faces behind the web names. What a great sail back to the Blackwater on Sunday! In hindsight, I even enjoyed the sail to Shotley on Saturday - certainly good for confidence in self and the boat.

Yep....another weekend that disappeared into a blur with that FC fellow.....

Great to meet some new faces and re-aquaint with old ones.

I have today been told that the reason for engine failure is most likely due dirt in the pre filter which may be the colourant from red diesel being left in the filters. apparently some engines are only running for 20 hours before they need a filter change!!!!!!!!!!! VP say you MUST use these filters

Thanks for the organising Alan and your cunning list of what food we had all ordered! It was great to meet up with some familiar faces again as well as some new ones.
