Shortest season ever?

It wasn’t until June of this year that red boards disappeared from the river ( although there was 1 good week in May) and now, before the end of September the whole length of the river is on red. I despair.

And that is why we travel 253 miles South and left Tolerance in Ramsgate rather than pay extortionate Marina fees plus the EA River Licence and put her on the Thames as originally planned which is half the distance for us.

We had three boats on the Thames and have fabulous memories but sadly the steady decline in river management and increase in marina fees didn't provide value for money.

Same here, boating as usual in the Medway
