Have a look in the phone book for a firm that does auto electrics or alternator repairs, should have anything you want & will crimp lugs on for you at little cost.
 
Just go on to ebay and buy 25mm or 35mm welding wire in either red or black. Several sellers sell it by the meter.

Welding wire is much more flexible than car starter wire and is much better for use on boats.

If you were nearer me I could make you up a short length of 25mm black wire with crimp terminals at both ends.

It is better, if you can, to crimp on the end terminals.

Go to the local scrappy, get the battery cables off a car, they will have the battery post connections on one side and a terminal on the other.

Try a welders supplies. they do flexible cables with enough insulation for 12V and can crimp heavy terminals on them.
Buy them the length you want. What you need might even be an offcut.
