A short video taken on Loch Fyne with a new Gopro, attached it to the Shurhold extending pole that we have on the boat and lowered it into the water at the bow to capture this footage.

Thanks Jimmy, here's what I used, http://shurhold.com/pov-camera-adapter

I ordered it from Marinescene, not on their website but they sourced it after an email enquiry for about £12, I then just set the gopro to record upside down

I thought the link for the video would have worked better, can anyone tell me where I went wrong?

That's what I thought, its amazing how quick it can move faster when it wants. This particular lone dolphin has been resident around Loch Fyne for 2 or 3 years, she always follows for a short time whenever we pass. Mostly she will stay alongside whatever part of the boat there are people.

Aha that's excellent. I need to get one, I've got both Shurhold and Gopro gear on the boat.

Ref the video, afaik you can't embed photobucket videos, you need to use youtube if you want to do that. The problem with youtube (as I discovered last week) is that it is very hard to create a youtube account without Google immediately linking it to everything else it already knows about you.

Thanks, that makes me feel better re the video posting.

Call Marinescene to order the part, it wasn't on their website but they were happy to source, came within a few days.

Ok, here you are Tom, I was hoping for the super duper time lapse sequence that I have, but I haven't worked it out yet..

Thanks Bav34, just ordered one of those grips, looks good.

Nice vid as well, the dolphin in our video does exactly the same, always joins us for a few minutes and then returns to the buoy it normally circles.
