Hi, after some advise.
Have brought a boat in from Japan and would like to split the shore power so some of the boat is 240V,sockets,battery charger (which I have done) and some is 110v so I can run the fridge and hot water.
So have brought one of thesehttp://cgi.ebay.com.au/240-VAC-to-US-power-converter-110-115-VAC-60Hz-4KW_W0QQitemZ180183234267QQihZ008QQcategoryZ26446QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
off of ebay but when I wire it into the mains it keeps tripping out the shore power yet when I wire straight 240 the same way its fails to trip out..
Cant seem to figure out where I'm going wrong...
