Shipwright's Arms Hollowshore

Anyone local know what the access is like to The Shipwright's Arms if you're dinghying in from the Swale? Next weekends mid afternoon tide looks ideal for a visit an hour or so either side of HW.

Shall we expect to be covered in mud or not?

Any info appreciated!

You should be able to get off ‘cleanly’ in the boatyard, I would think.

There are some steps on the Faversham side. (Behind buoy)
This was neaps last year, I'd left Faversham just after high water.

I've always got ashore using these steps without getting muddy, as long as the tide has almost reached the bottom step. Here I was about 20 minutes early and had to wait. Definitely worth it!

I believe the Kingsferry Bridge is closed this weekend so might have to reschedule this trip, we were planning on doing a lap of the Island, rather than the long way round twice!
