Shipping forecast and great Fish Restaurant - Torquay

This should really be in the Lounge but I thought you would like it on here.
We went out to a great fish restaurant last night - right next to the harbour in Torquay.
Restaurant's name is Rockfish
Some will probably know it.
Great food - all fresh - their motto is "if we haven't got your favourite fish today, it is probably still in the sea".

Anyway, SWMBO came back from the toilets with a smile on her face.
You have got to check out the sound track that they are playing in the toilet.

Incidentally when the Pier Hotel had a major refurbishment a year or so ago, the forecast was discontinued but there were so many complaints from regular customers that it was reinstated.

We went with family in Spring and felt it had gone downhill from when it first opened, so Jane was not keen on going there this week. We stayed local in Thatched Tavern instead!

To be honest the quality had definitely gone downhill from when it first opened, and we haven't been for over a year now because of that. We just thought it time to have a re-look and see if things have improved.

Speaking as a Torquinian, if you want the best fish and chips in the world, head up to Babbacombe (bit of a trek on foot from the harbour but there are busses or taxis) and give this place a go.

If it's summer you can eat them on the Babbacombe Downs 2 mins away with views across Lyme Bay to Portland Bill on a clear day.

We're also quite keen on Below Decks on the harbourside - nice burgers!
