Have a couple of friends with 950's and one with sliding top 1020 (?). All are very pleased with them.
All are used on non tidal Thames with occasional trips to St Kat's.
Never seen any but was browsing there website and they look very interesting. What would there cruising speed / top speed be in general for lets say the 950 ?
Most have very small engines in which means monouverability and performance is limited. However they are very good quality floating caravans...perfect for windermere. A 75hp 950 should do 9 kts on a lake. I love the rear cabin 950 by the way.
I think the standard engine was a Nanni 50hp with the option of 65 hp.
Both would drive the boat to hull design speed around 8 or 9 knots and cruise all day in almost silence at 5 knots.
Very restful and probably well suited to Windermere.
