Shearwater 22

I have recently acquired a Shearwater 22 1960 vintage. The boat is made of marine ply and the hull is sound. Unfortunately the decking is leaking. Before I start pulling everything apart has anybody had similar problems and how did you deal with it?
Any information about this quite beautiful boat would be appreciated.

Looking through the paper work that came with the 22 it seems taht she was originally called SAREMA and owned by a chap called Geoffrey Phoenix of Cranleigh and was production number 58 and given a 'Y' series number 3103Y(What ever that means)
The boat is currently called KATHRYN - LOUISE and was owned by a Mr George Bent of Portsmouth.
Any info or tips you can give would be much appreciated.

Happy Christmas

Hi,
The boat is very sound on the hull and currently on a hard stand at Rye, East Sussex. She is leaking through the deck panels. Any tips on the best procedure to overcome the problem would be appreciated. I am sure to find other niggles so your 'phone number would be appreciated.

Happy Christmas
