Shaft size

Managed to snap a bolt when installing a 25mm shaft anode while nipping it up. Maybe a Chinese bolt or the shaft is imperial

Almost certainly Imperial 1" or 25.4mm which is why a 25 mm will not fit. A caliper costs less than a bust anode so borrow or buy one and measure the shaft accurately.

Lesson learned for the day

Can't get metric doughnut shaft anodes over here.
I have to cut a slice off the joining face of one of the halves to allow a one inch anode to grab securely & not spin on my 25mm shaft.
Perhaps we should trade shafts :D

Steal a bolt from a used anode & trade your new 25mm for a pint......

Cheers/ Len
