Shady Lady

Peter,

I saw shady Lady on Topsham quay yesterday. (my boat spends the the winter there)
Sad to see a boat broken up like that. It appears the damage was concentrated on the starboard side. Did it hit the rocks alongside the railway?. They certainly built those Moody's very strongly.

Yes thats exactly what happened,.

How is she? The wreck was bought from the insurance company, I assumed she would have been repaired & sold, although I understand that she would not be able to get insurance.

I didn't realise it was Shady Lady, I was taking a break from working on the boat having a sandwich, strolling around the quay. It wasn't till I saw the starboard side that I realised it was your boat, the Port side seemed OK. I'm not aware of what's happening to her, she's just lying there (with lot's of gear aboard by the looks of it. It is a secure yard now that they have the fencing and gate but it could be tempting for someone)
Looking at the damage any lesser built boat would fared a lot worse IMHO.
