Sestrel Compass, what model?

Thanks, the compass is in a sleave, no screws or such on it just 4 adjustment magnets on the bottom. With the seal leaking it pours out fluid if you slightly tip it over... guess how I know...
Not sure what the fluid is in it, not as heavy/thick as baby oil, and could be paraffin, it is slightly oily, thicker than water but not by much, could be mineral spirits

Edit: the older Ocean 37's had Sestrel Moore heavy duty compasses but this is not that.
 
There used to be a nautical instrument repairer by Hull docks.

I don't know if he is still there but maybe someone here will know.

If so, you might get a new gasket there.

Compass fluid is available from Light Aero Spares in Devon. Being "Aero" it is not cheap. Compass Fluid Bayol 35 (C-Fluid) LAS Aerospace Ltd
