Having sold my previous boat, I'm looking for a downsized, new to me, trailer sailor type boat. My first choice would have been one of the small Beneteau or Jeanneau range, maybe the Sun 20 or similar. Unfortunately there's not many available in Portugal and none available in the Algarve. The few that are around are way overpriced to my mind. I want to buy local as I don't want the travel hassle with covid and certainly don't want to go through the import and matriculation process that would be needed should I buy in Spain or France.
There are a few Serviola 23 's around though, and may well fit the bill as a simple, lift keel, trailer-able day boat with spartan accomodation for a couple of nights aboard on the odd occasion. I have no experience of this range of boat and can't really find any reviews online. I would appreciate it if anyone who has ever sailed one or owned one and can maybe give me a run down on build quality and performance along with things to look for when buying. Also any links to a review of some kind might be useful. Thanks in anticipation.
