Selling - wet or dry?

Sounds like dry is the preferred option, then.

Next question (high-jacking my own thread!) - through a broker or privately? Do many marinas contractually insist that only the on-site broker may be used when selling? Are they allowed to do this?
I seem to remember a while back at least one marina expecting a cut of the price of any boat sold in the marina :(
 
I just bought mine in the water. It does risk a wasted survey but I prefer to see how she sits in the water with all the kit onboard. You have the lift costs anyway so leave it in for me but clear out all the rubbish!
