Does that mean according to that woman that at 23 I am too young to be wearing a poppy? (wearing mine right now) I wear it to rember not only those who parcipertated in World war I but also the likes of my grandparents and great aunts and uncles who fought in WWII (as well as those who have fought in subsiquent conflicts) and helped to bring about the defeat of Nazism I for one would never have been born if Hitler had won.
At my college the vast majority of students even foriegn students are wearing poppies.
