In an effort to save a bit of weight, locker space and to help fund new purchases, I've decided to try and sell a few bits from our boat in Gouvia.
Stuff like cruising chute, bowsprit pole for a 39ft Beneteau. Question is, what's the market like in Corfu for this sort of stuff? Anyone tried greek ebay? advertising in navigators? Word of mouth?
Or am I best shipping a load of stuff back to uk for ebay here? I know some groupage firms who seem user-friendly enough but cheaper and easier to sell in Greece if the price is broadly comparable.
Of course I can put small items in my luggage and sell in the UK, but I cannot imagine what O'Leary would want to fly a spinnaker pole home...
As ever, all advice gratefully received.
Thanks,
Mark.
