I replaced my old 3GM30 with a new 3YM30 two years ago and sold the old engine via ebay to someone in the Canaries. They didn't ask for any special paperwork, all they had from me was a photo of the model/serial number plate, their own shipper picked it up on a pallet from Cowes and that was it gone...
