Hi all, my 32 foot MVF is in local boatyard for re caulking and some tidying up, repainting, etc....I have a limited time to do the work as the large crane to lift it back in only comes to town infrequently so I only have a few weeks to do everything.
On top of that, I have suddenly go busy with working away from here amd other stuff has come up so I am running out of time.
My questions is this...would it be such a bad idea to advertise her as is allowing the new buyer to
1) Do the work themselves saving money
2) see her out the water to assure themselves she is sound
3) do everything up the way they want it
4) Get her for a cheaper price
5) potentially she could go on a trailer and be moved anywhere if they so wished
I would obviouly sell her at a lower price if she was sold as is.....I would be asking a lot more if ahe was all finished and ready to go.
There are likely other sides to this that I have not yet considered, but at this stage I will simply not get her done in time for the crane returning.
Regards Alan
