Selling a boat on Ebay?

I sold a BMW for £12K on ebay. Everything went well and he was pleased as punch. That was 15 years ago. I expect it would be a less smooth ride these days.

I'm not so sure. I had an old BMW and the suspension held up very well for its age.

Everyone is dodging the question of survey. If the OP meant selling dinghies and little motorboats, then fine. But surely anyone in their right mind buying anything more than £7kish or 20 footish would want a survey done by their own surveyor? I know I did (see above). And so would their insurance company?
