Selden plastic

I don't know the type of plastic but a super glue may work or a 2 part type. Big problem though; depending on what and where broken, the loads can be big on the plastic components and the repair may not last long.

Very little if any loads involved. Damaged in dismasting (hopefully one off vent for this furler)

The question renains.. super glue or two part or something more exotic..

Some (many) plastics are notoriously difficult to glue. To be sure of a permanent repair it would be necessary to find out which type of plastic you are dealing with. An email to Selden might be worthwhile in this regard.

I would hope that a dismasting is an insurance job. If that's the case, I'd expect the furler damage to be be part of the claim
Not my dismasting!!

I am going to email Selden.. putting on an unsuitable glue will likely ruin the surfaces ...

I expect them to tell me it's a trade secret and send me a catalogue where I can select new parts...
