Searching for a new compass

My 20 years old flush mounted Suunto must be repaired but I tink it has ended its life.
I have been ofered a new Ritchie F83 compass.
I would very much appreciate opinions about this compass and recommendations of other brands.

For me

100% Repairable, finalised the decision and very pleased with build and use, though not needed to repair it yet!

I have had a Ritchie flush mount for over ten years now – no problems so far. It replaced a Suunto, which in turn replaced a Sestrel Minor. Both these failed after some years by leaking fluid / letting air bubbles in, despite several attempts so repair them.
