Nice boat, hope you have many good times on her. Had been for sale for a while I think, so hope you had a good deal.
Lets just say , I am extremely happy with the deal. I am a Scotsman so negotiated hard as you would expect ! Tip foranyone looking to buy , haggle like hell and be prepared to walk away and lose the boat. Its the only attitude to take if you want the right boat at the right price.
Congratulations, she looks fab and IMHO an excellent choice for the kind of cruising you have in mindGive me a chance to get it ! Heres a taster
MMMmm , not sure . Was involved in motorsport ( and still am a little) before I got into boats and you certainly dont want to sit down and work out what that costs you !
Funnily enough , I never had this issue when buying a rally car. I always knew which one I wanted.
congratulations. Saw another Searanger in Yarmouth last week, looked beautiful. Very much a quality MY.
Have fun with her!
Rally cars, we could chat more on that subject , my last hobby before serious boats took over.
Thanks. Will do
There were only 9 of this model built and there is another one in the clyde and one in Lymington that I know of.
The last 2 times we have been to Yarmouth we have seen a Searanger, both navy hulled, the first was called Lysander, the second I saw last week, initially thinking it must Lysander again, but had a navy hull and cream coach roof with its name in very large letters across the transom which was......... no, its gone! I will probably remember in a minute!
This is Lysander;

It could have been Larkspur - that is based in Lymington - Article about her on Searanger Website -
