Seamaster Sailer 23 owners!

To all Seamaster Sailer 23 owners....or those knowledgeable enough to know anyway!

I had a little look around one in the week and am I right in thinking that that the Seamaster Sailer 23 has a built in mast compression post next to the door to of the heads? There seemed to be a metal post there painted to match the boat, would that be a mast compression post?

Does anyone know if the Sailer 23 suffered from mast compression at all?

I assume that it is. We´ve never seen even a hint of the problem and La Roca has had some very rough handling from us during the last ten years.
