Well had a busy day but job almost done, need to clip and add vacuum gauge to outlet of racor spin on but pleased with the results so far and had the engine running before I left so hopefully a sail tomorrow morning!

Now have an external (from engine compartment) shut off, a dual CAV filter and a racor spin on.

Whilst doing the job I was worried about starting and disturbing every thing, but found two joints that rotated by hand and rubber pipe on to plain copper pipe. The plain copper pipe I soldered some olives on to to create a ridge (thank you who ever suggested that). I ended up using PTFE on one joint and hyplomar as it said suitable for fuel. the local plumbing shop was out of oil line joint sealer and not likely to have any for a couple of weeks!

A few picture and thanks for the input in to the question.
