What is the best Sealant to use to seal new skin fittings and anode studs

my skin fittings were sealed with marine silicone when the boat was built. never been so impressed as when i tried to remove one after 12 years. to say it was b...y difficult is an understatement.

my efforts with polyurethane sealants like s***x have been less impressive, but polysulphide rubber works well for permanent immersion.
