Hi!

1) the grey pipes used by Sealine, for the domestic water system (show, kitchen etc), is that Whale system or something else?

2) It seems that the blender used in the aft shower wasnt treated right before last winter, so now when we pressurized the system it started to leak. Anyone know where one can buy another blender/mixer?

The grey pipe is standard 15mm domestic push-fit plumbing - polypipe or hepworth probably; the white fitting might be by John Guest. It's all generally interchangeable, although make sure you use the right stiffeners for the pipe.

Cheers

The correct name in plumbing world is, hep2o, the White fitting is John guest .

I bet any money the blue pipe and White fitting have been fitted due to a freeze then a burst pipe.

Guest to hep2o are slightly different sizes of plastic pipe, make sure the insert that goes inside the pipe is correct, otherwise it could leak.

Inhale used penguin engineering on hauling island, they supply all the uk builders with shower heads etc.

Agree above. There are fittings that push fit and (a) can be undone but never removed from the pipe, and there are fittings that can (b) be completely made-unmade

Most Hep2o (spoken in UK as "Hep -two-oh") is (a) including the grey fittings in your pic and is top quality gear. The white Guest fitting is a (b) make-and-unmake

I would never now use the coloured (blue-red) whale piping because I find it unreliable. Plastic splits. I had loads of leaks on my 2004 Sq58 and Fairline themselves stopped using it. The grey Hep20 and polypipe grey stuff is good quality and the stuff you should use

I plumbed a yacht last year in red and blue plastic hose, so far all ok even after the harsh winter, but yes I know what you mean John, jubilee clips are so last year on domestic water systems these days.
