Just been down to Port Hamble where Ancasta are getting ready for an open weekend. Its quite a line up of new and used boats - worth dropping in to have a look if you are interested in Sealine. Will be there on Saturday - maybe with boat if weather OK!!

Is there a list of boats being shown anywhere on the web?

I was thinking of upgrading to one of their big sports boats as last year with all the c**p wetaher found the Targa a little bit squashed down below.

I could not believe the poor quality once you take a closer look at these things, this was at Southampton Boat Show as well so no excuses. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

After talking to a friendly surveyour /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif I'm afriad to say I wouldn't touch once with a barge pole.

well, having done the same as you do... and explored all the other brands, im happy to say that I am on my 9th Sealine now having progressed through the range.

I have had no poblems apat from a few minor things go wrong, but the backup and customer care has been excellent, infact as good as my Bentley service, and lately from Sealine South Coast!!!!!!!

I would keep at least a thousand miles away from anything to do with Ancasta.

Genuinely interested - for what reasons?

what they don't tell you is some of the story's about other makes /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

I have heard some scary stuff about just about every make out there, and no I will not tell , If I listened to it all I would not go out on the water, so, do take things with a pinch of salt.

I have heard equally bad tales about other respected boat-builders - so, if you were to use this philosophy, you'd end up never buying a boat - they all have their tales of joy and woe ....

Well stated Julie, and obviously from experience as you have been around here a lot longer than a lot of us put together!,

and 10 out of 10 for Sealine South Coast & Ancasta taking the courage and will to put on such a show.

For those of you that would like to know - there is an excellent presentation of the Range of Sealine Boats on show from now till Sunday at Sealine South Coast @ Port Hamble on the Hamble River.

And, an excellent bunch of peeps to deal with and a Sealine Owners Club growing each day.
So come on down...... /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

We had a Fairline Phantom before our SC38. IMHO the build quality on the Sealine is at least as good at the Fairline (and no old packing case material behind the pull out bed) /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

I had a Princess V40 before my S41 Sealine and no, the Sealine is not in the same 'build quality' league but then I didn't pay anything like the same price per foot. You don't get anything for nothing these days!
You pays yer money .......
