This boat is running fine but at high revs about 25 knots one engine is over heating !

Any ideas what to check, We tried all the obvius things, because we live in the east coast we clered all the mud out of pipes.

Any other ideas?

Bugger, won't be the sender then.Presume normal is around 80/ 90c?I did have a bit of a blockage on one of my raw water inlets where it had got plugged when sitting on the mud, stuck a hose down as far as possible and washed it out.Don't know what to suggest really, but if you need any help give me a call.

maybe something simple like the impela wearing and not chucking enough water around to cool the temperatures of high speed? An easy thing to check.

As with lots of Volvo's, if the raw water is getting in, Check it's getting out fast enough. Rust and muck in the Exhaust bend will slow the flow out and overheat the engine. This when revs increase. Regards Trevor
