That would add more than 1200lb to the boat compared to D3s, largely negating any potential performance gains , leaving you with a higher purchase price and increased fuel consumption for any given speed.
Agreed.

Wonder if they will do a soft top? as other have said, hard tops on these boats don't look great.
+1
The slidey roof concept really does produce ugly boats, how long till they go bust again...
If you want to see ugly, have you seen Bavaria's latest attempt with their "new" sports cruiser range?
Fairly certain my daughter could do better with Lego
I realy don't understand the excitement over this boat, surely it's a sealine in name only?
Just another boat from another foreign yard
I could understand people buying 'British' when they were made here but there is no more reason to be excited about them than any other foreign boat
It's not like they keeping the UK economy alive

From an excellent designer (Dixon).
As you say, takes all sorts......looks like a caravan with outdrives to me.
I still remember when the other "emperors new clothes boat" - SC29 came out to same rave reviews - now second-hand prices half of what they were new...

Perhaps people still think there's some Sealine DNA in this boat. People might also wonder if this is a boat that could have saved Sealine - it does seem that it is what Sealine were good at, i.e. practical boats at a decent price.
Brochure for the S330 as follows (apologies if it is posted elsewhere but I didn't see it).
https://www.hanseyachts.com/media/d... good idea for durability or reliability IMO.
I'd like to see the boat that hasnt lost a significant amount of its value in 7 years...
Wow, what a well proportioned boat IMO.
It should bring plenty of potential punters to the stand at Southampton Boatshow.
Regarding the brand, my thoughts are that it is still alive and hopefully will continue to prosper like Jaguar etc.
