Sealine S330, anyone had a look yet?

I'll be heading to SIBS on Monday anyway to have a nose but wondered if anyone has had a look yet, first impressions?

I thought the S was smaller than 330? It's a bit raw at the edges as they rushed to get it ready, but they'll fix that.

It's a winner. Separate forward cabin, spacious. Great boat for its size. The split roof is a great.

All they need now is a 250.

F330 fab too. Flybridge amazing. Engine bay amazing ( though engine removal a worry) galley excellent only the saloon failed to wow, but I'm spoiled in my 390 everything sub 50 ft feels cramped in the saloon.

Had a look on the S330 today and we were impressed. They have done a good job maximising space and I really liked the cockpit and helm. The saloon is snug but adequate and the aft cabin berth looked quite large. Only downside was the length of the forward berths.....no way all 6'5" of me would ever fit in......but then I wouldn't need to as the aft berth would have my name on it :) Heads and shower compartment were a good size and the overall quality seemed okay.

Overall I think it will do well and the sales guy was already talking about improvements and praising Hanse for their responsiveness to customer feedback. Not a consistent feature with the Kidderminster set up apparently.

Mark, good shout on the rushed finish... Some of the mastic around the windscreen looked suspect but easily fixed..... I hope.

I find it incredible that a boat launch as important as this has obvious glaring quality issues despite it being rushed. Surely it takes 5 minutes to mastic badly or the same time to do it properly. Time was not the issue here, more a lack of basic quality control and considering the boats being presented to a bunch of highly critical and knowledgeable boating people and one of the first 'new' Sealines under the Hanse brand is just poor form.

Sealine S330 F38

Looked at the S330.

Thought it looked good.
Galley obviously needs some redesigning, no oven, sink and 2 raised hob rings looked naff and strange gap behind worktop to hull.

Looked at the F38.

Wouldn’t want to be the person sat on the end of the helm bench in a rough sea with that 4 mtr drop to the galley.
When I mentioned it to the Sealine employee he said some form of stop end was not necessary, but then what should I know I’m only a potential customer.

Lets hope they do a F33 + as there is a glaring hole in the market for a replacement to the Sealine F34 and Jeanneau Prestige 32.
Preferably as wide as the P32 on shafts with a stop end on the helm seat.

You've obviously never built a new boat to show deadlines then?? Be realistic, you will be saying that there will be no teething issues with a new design of boat next...

Erm...please read my post again. What I'm saying is it takes as long to mastic a screen badly as it does to do it well so this in no way implies that the result is due to rushing for a boat show deadline.
I just think they could have double checked the build quality before launching it to the world. Problem is if people see this then they immediately think that the Hanse versions of Sealine's may well suffer the same build quality that Sealine was criticised for in the past.
Teething issues are not the same in this instance, it's more about sloppy workmanship.

I think that is the point that is being made. Without a boat show deadline they might have had more time to double check the build quality before dispatch.
