I would expect around 1lt/hr at a steady cruise of 24knts

I think you mean 1lt/Nmile /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

We don't want to get as bad as MBM, they appear to have published diesel consumption figures for 300hp mag petrol in this months mag', A 26ft Doral doing 10gph at wot with a 300hp petrol engine, I think not.

Steve,
We have one and on our recent trip from Plymouth to Gosport and back we averaged about 1ltr/Nm cruising between 18 and 22 Kts.

Have you found one yet or are you still looking??? I know someone not very far away from me here who is selling one in the not to distant future.

PM me if you have any questions.

No - me try and sell something in here - that would cause an outrage - but I believe Anne is looking to sell a boat /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Would I be right in assuming that it would be 2 ltrs per NM if running a S28? (2 x KAD32's) @ the same speed.

Cheers in advance.

Talking fuel figures I am really pleased with my Doral, 36ft, LOA 39ft and I get 20lt an hour per engine at 22knt I thought 40lt per hour running is very good.

This is better than my previous boat which was 4 ft smaller,

is this good???

What might that be for the V6 205/210hp engine option that most of the S23's seem to be shod with?

I too am in the Market for one of these, any pointers of potential problem areas to look for would be most helpful or should I just rely on a decent survey.

Thanks in advance.

I had one for nearly five years, there are no particular problems I can think of but have a look for chipped GRP where the anchor goes into the nose and worth a hull survey if it has been regularly towed because it's quite a heavy boat and the hull gell coat can get crushed, particularly around the keel, by the trailor rollers if not properly loaded.
