Many bought as a try it and see entry to boating and the first to come onto the market when things get a bit grim due to both it not being for everyone and folks who buy these boats having other things to spend their money on ie families and mortgages.
Simply lots around and even in todays market perhaps people who have caught the bug are still upgrading to bigger/better things.
Loads of fun to be had from mini pocket rocket cruisers but as time goes on the ability to stay aboard longer and therefore go further rears its head as well as for something a bit more stable ?

Er, I would have thought that's bleedin' obvious. There's a mega recession out there and any boat where there's a bit of an oversupply is going to take a big hit
