sounds like a great trip, what about halfords for an emergency wiper blade?

I am not familiar with the F42 but if try a motor factor who might do truck or bus parts .
I have wipers from screw fix on my F33 which although not great are adequate .

Or perhaps drive from the flybridge helm so you don’t need wipers ?

hi guys found a back street garage gave me some to take and try ,got one metal but will change before it rusts ,took others back ,all he would have was a £5 what a saint ,also had dizel 69p a L a good day thanks for help ps i only want the wiper for looks as it never rains in ireland
