Anyone got any clever ideas how to fit a set of covers around the cockpit seats ?

Ha Ha . I love your boat to Terry . . . I wouldn't mind one of those blingy steering wheels though .
The white cover is for the compass I think .

Do builders properly swing the compasses they fit as part of pre checks. Being so close to all those leccy sources is going to throw it out.

Best thing about a f/b compared with a sportboat is the lack of covers. If i buy a f/b that has them i remove the poppers and have the grp repaired.

Why oh why fit covers?

To keep the rain out when its rainy , . . To keep the wind out when its windy , . . .To keep the dust of the cockpit seats when we leave the boat , and because sealine make nice compartments to store them in , apart from that I cant see a reason :D .......
Paul did a great job by the way , thanks for the recommendation .

When its rainy i go inside.
And i spend less time hosing the cockpit than i would continually putting covers up and down.

We have a really nice canopy for the cockpit of our Snazi. The windows roll up/down in seconds, or can be unzipped for prolonged good weather. It is great sitting in a cockpit warmed by the winter sun :)
No poppers, just a few bungies.

Really like it. Great side decks a huge improvement on mine.

One downside, those stupid GRP triangles at the side of the bathing platform, makes alongside berthing unsafe. Lot's of boat like it, bavarias, some princesses, but even so I'd have to get the angle grinder out.

Well looking at the images:

Likes:
A lot of good points, like the clean lines and design of the hull, topsides and superstructure, they have certainly grown on me. Good use of space as always with Sealine. Love the seats on the transom which can face either way, I expect the FB seat also does the same. Like the table on the FB making this a usable social space. Sensible cleats and the like. Like the teak side decking, width seems OK its better to have more space inside IMO!

Dislikes:
I really dislike the design of the upper and lower helm control panels, bit cluttered with the wheel on the FB far too close to throttles IMO. Also the FB sink (storage box) to left of the control panel looks ghastly but useful I expect. The VHF Mic socket vulnerable to water ingress on top. I don't like not being able to access both sides of the FB helm seat, I wonder if all the sunbathing cushions/supports to stb of helm are removable? This is a favorite position for guests when under way. I suppose there is good visibility though wrapping the deep perspex(?) screen around the FB but I wonder how resilient that will be as a cushion backrest. Do you climb over the cushions to view the stb quarter of the boat when berthing (I expect this can be sorted with cameras though). Also in the bow cabin, I don't like the look at the sides (where the portholes are) with the blinds up. Also not much work surface in the galley, mainly taken up by the hob and sink.

So, some very nice points and a really excellent looking boat to work with for the size, I am sure you can have much of the above modified to order and it seems very good value indeed, so despite dislikes all in all a winner I think.......
