Sealine F36 - value.. Opinions sought

We have a Sealine F36, professionally serviced and maintained in our five years of ownership.
We don’t want to sell, (?) but if we did, what do you think would be a realistic price to expect to achieve?

I have looked for boats for sale but can only see one comparable.
 
Impossible to say with any degree of accuracy for a boat where there are virtually none for sale and very few were actually built. You will only know when you seriously want to sell and consult the right sort of broker with his finger on the pulse.
 
Good point but I didn't want to speak with a broker at this stage as selling is just an idea on the back burner.
If he said he had someone looking for a 36' flybridge with cash on the hip I might be tempted and then live to regret it!

I was looking before covid and they were going from 105 to 120 private and 140 plus through brokerage. What covid has done I cant say but I'd expect realistically you could ask 130 to 140 and actually get it if still in good order all round. But then we are expecting a recession and diesel at near 2quid at the pump the market may just plummet rock bottom. Who can tell for sure

I can’t see our market going rock bottom because all our boats are 20% paid over shopping abroad, what I can see is a slowdown in sales used market as I have not done many pre purchase inspections this year or possibly the fact people are being talked into buying blind without surveys because there is always the next man biting in the Que who wasn’t fast enough with his deposit.
 
I hope that is the case as I wish to sell in the near future myself, but I was under the assumption that at 20 years old or so, a boat only had value based on market willingness. And if the market isnt there or slowed down then prices drop accordingly. I would have thought the F37 is largely a first time buyer's boat and as such many would be looking at the cost of fuel and baulking. Even when fuel wasnt on the agenda it has generally been the first time buyers biggest fear. Just look at previous threads through the last decade. If I tell a prospect last year a weekend out cost me 200 quid in fuel and now it's costing me damn near 400 and I use the boat every weekend they start talking sailing boats pretty damn quickly. I have even started casting an eye in that direction. This year I have seen very few motorboats go out further than the local bay by comparison to previous years. In fact I have seen none. The exception being the TT week, they otherwise all seem to be getting deep cleaned and polished. Those that are current owners are generally far more relaxed about fuel as overall costs but first timers dont seem to be able to see past that.
 
Does look nice but 1995 is probably a 350, the main difference is the overhang on the fly bridge and the engines, the F36 should have KAD44 with electronic controls.

A friend has a F36 with kamd43's . Indeed kamd43's were an option in the later F37 also.
Although there are no F36 badges on my friends boat. I believe its a 1998 model.
I think the 350/360/F36 models evolved gradually and there are some 360's with the earlier shorter flybridge overhang for example.
 
I would imagine something in the region of £100k would be realistic in todays market. You have the larger 44 engines like we used to from memory but lower engine hours which will be in your favour. Ours sold for circa £91k in the summer of 2020 to give some idea.

well I sold her for £82k seven and a half years ago so they are doing ok ?
 
I reckon the post covid price for a nice f37 is around £130k (asking). Pre covid about £95k. Whether the market stays buoyant is anyone’s guess, but there are some headwinds coming. Assume F36 would be similar.
