Just wondered if the Sealine site was back up now the best bits have been snapped up by Hanse. Well it is, and reflects the new smaller range, in places. However, all the old News articles are there about events and sales office openings, even staff appointments. Strangely nothing about Sealine going bust, 300+ redundancies, the acquisition by Hanse, shut down of Kidderminster or production move to Germany. Looking at the background information it looks like it's unchanged from before. The careers section states...
"Sealine's relationship with its people is founded on our commitment to provide secure employment and competitive rewards. We value and recognise people who focus on delivering high quality work and seek out ways to continually improve processes and operations."
Appalling that text is there.
It's clearly intended to give the impression that it's business as usual at Sealine, and at Kidderminster.
Does any of this really matter.... maybe not as anybody looking to buy would surely find out the truth, but I don't like it.
