Hi just wanted to check what others here with 36 foot sealines had as an anchor and chain ,
Our anchor was looking very rusty and thin ,so I bought a brand new one same make and weight as the original delta 10kg is this same as yours ? I’ve not fitted it yet and now I’m maybe thinking should I have gone bigger ? But I’m not sure the hole in the hull would take the next size up ?? The moulding of 360 statesman hull at front looks identical to s36 so any s36 owners please chip in ,Also my chain seems rather large it measures between 9 and 10 mm so I assume it’s the 10mm chain , I’ve looked in the chandlers and it certainly looks more like the 10mm ? From what I’ve read 8mm seems more like the norm , but I don’t want to have to change the chain roller on the winch ,I doubt the chain or the anchor has been changed by any previous owners as it’s the original Lewmar winch , I’m a bit wuss and never really settle when the boats on anchor at the best times so don’t do it very often but I would like to
