Sealine 35 Sport

Completely pointless boat in my opinion. Can't imagine who will want to buy it.

Not even good more the Med unless you can add a bimini.

I'm warming to the hard top but for the money would still prefer the Jeanneau SC38

As a bit of sexy, elegant fun in the sun it works, and at £140/£150k it would be a good option. Thing is, at over £200k it does look expensive and is competing with bigger stuff.

If you want a pure sports boat at that size then it has to be a Windy Khamsin 35 - looks the dogs and costs less too.

The slab side look even more pronounced on this one. Definately will never be on my shopping list. Sealine have made some good looking boats in the past but I feel this and the sc35 mark the start of a company loosing its way. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder I suppose. They made a good start with the sc29 and 38 which were nice looking proportional looking boats but the 35 is more like some concept design that never goes into production that you see at motor shows.

Well I think is looks great /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif, why does everyone want to look the same, all practical and tweed jumpers,......... "oh can't have that its not sensible" ,.......... " must'nt have anything that no one else has",....... " its got the wrong badge"........ its all getting a bit BMW three series these days, everyone's got one /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif............sod it! live a bit, take a chance, you know it makes sense in the end /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif, when your old and wrinkley lying there on your death bed you won't be remembering Mr Jelly Mould sensible, you'll be smiling remembering those glory days when you were out there being different and enjoying life, every bit of totty dropping at your feet and secretly every other bloke wishing he had the guts to do the same but then runs home for a nice cup of coco /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Then what do I know /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif cus this is my favourite boat at the moment and if I had the dosh I'd buy it in a shot..........then be completely shot to bits for being so stupid /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

MD 51 gorgeous

"I dissagree but thats just my opinion. I always thought Sealines were very ugly with loads of confused shapes and differenr shaped windows. I love these bold lines and as for this open top boat i think its brilliant, who needs a bimini or a hard top, bunch of wimps."............Amen

The Jeanneau 38S is a superb boat - I dont see how mainstream manufacturers will beat it.

Not sure I'd agree as it was on our shopping list and we didn't buy it!!
Personally, didn't like the two formal seating areas in the cockpit....one and a lounging area would have suited us far better.

Just proves we all have our pro's and con's when buying our next folly!! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Pretty though.......

Oh Nauti Im with you on the MD51...... add acouple of lewis guns and some torpedo tubes and its back to the north sea in 1918..... fabulous.. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I like it, looks very sporty, I guess a canopy would be an option so you can put it up when overnighting, and very good to see they've made the bathing platform bigger, the one on the SC35 at SIBS was tiny, hopefully they change it too.
Like them both, SC35 and Sport.

Nautical, thats a hell of a size for a cuddy boat! Is your record for the fastest IPS boat in jeopardy with that?
And wouldn't you lose all those remote controls??? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Nice boats.

Only one word for that...........Urghhhhh.

Technically, is "Urghhhhh" a word? /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

No not quite it does 38 knts the 47 does between 39 and 41 each way so 40 average but I have seen 42.3 last weekend on a sea trial but that was probably with some tide.

You could arrive in Portofino in the MD51 and get more attention than if you arrived in a 37m Squeaker /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif and as everyone knows that's Nautical all over /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

personally the bathing platform is the dissaopinting part of the sealine with an add on

I mean an old Squad 50 which just a bp added from the 47 looks much better and that was about 14 year ago where extended platforms where coming in fashion, same mistake apparently happened for the Atlantis 39 and 35, where there is no real space to put a tender...
