Hi all need some advice on what sealant to use to re bed external joints between hull sections, needs to be black in colour,
Found a small leak coming through the joint on the hull flange that bolts the flybridge to the hull sections, think the cause is where the flange has been drilled to pass electrical cabling through , reducing the surface joint area from approx 50mm to 10mm , going to dig out the old sealant as far as possible and inject the joint with new sealant , there are so many different types on the market not sure which one is best suited .
Thanks

Have just used C1 to seal leaking hull/deck joint. Good to apply and tool plus easy to clean up. It an adhesive as well as sealant so perhaps would be reluctant to use in to bed hardware I may want to lift in future. I used acetone to degrease surfaces before application plus cleaned before hand with washing up liquid in water and dried with hairdryer
Comes in black too. I can’t say regarding long term but seems to get mostly good reviews
