Seajet

Hope you feel better soon, you’re lucky so many people care for your welfare. I’ve always enjoyed your gentle, wistful anecdotes without any nastiness, you’ve sent me good advice in the past, so big thankyou and hope you get better soon.

I have only just noticed this thread, to say I am touched would be a major understatement.

People have much worse things to worry about than me, as sadly a few good people here can confirm.

Thank You, Chums

Andy

GWS, all the best.

I hope Andy won't mind me talking about him as if he hadn't already joined this thread.

I was thinking about buying an Anderson 22 earlier in the year, and Andy sent me so many informative downloads and such thoughtfully encouraging advice, that what had almost been an unknown quantity, felt very familiar. In the end I wasn't in a position to make that purchase, but had I taken the plunge, I knew he'd have hurried to help in ways I wouldn't even have thought of.

The forum needs you, Andy! Hope you're feeling better soon. :encouragement:

We're entitled to worry about friends. Anyway I could have done with you this weekend - I'm off to the Air Tattoo Saturday with my trusty bridge camera with it's 600mm lenses but I won't bother posting the results I suspect. A 3 hour drive each way to an airfield at 30°C with cloudless skies and nearly 200,000 people - I must be mad.

I do hope you're back to your cantankerous self soon - we all miss you lots.

Damn! Seajet's dropped in. I was just about to suggest that we could use the opportunity of his temporary absence to have a thread on what a load of rubbish Anderson 22s are. ;)

We'd better hurry up and get it done quick, as we're all hoping he'll be better and back in full circulation v. soon. :encouragement:

I'll never be that ill, even if I have to come from ' the other side ' and put a vampire bat up your pyjamas :)

Just to say finally, I am amazed and so touched at the kind thoughts expressed to me, can't quite believe it !

Thank you all,

Andy

If you're feeling much better then anything nice I said about you no longer counts :p Seriously I hope you're on the mend and stay like that for quite a while..
