Seafurl system

Felt very pleased with myself stripping down my furling system which has never been smooth . Now the standing rigging is due to be replaced seemed a good time to take the drum off and explore!. sure enough , not only are the s/s balls knackered but there is hairline cracking on the races. The system is an old (83) Hood yacht systems "Seafurl". Have spent this afternoon looking up on the web for a UK spares supplier (can only get Hood sails ) any of you wise ones know who to look at ? Thanks... Peegee

The last time I got spares was from Chris Wragg, 25 Broad Lane, Lymington 01590 677052. Don't know whether he is still the agent-must be worth a try!

Yep ! many thanks one and all.. Chris Wragg now has the Seafurl parts dealership for UK and was both knowledgable and helpful. New bearings available (cheque in post) So thats another panic over....for now.
Happy boating.
