Seafood and Oyster bar, Isle of Seil

Sgeir,

It is true that the previous owners had all the charm of three day old fish. It is to the previous incarnation as the Oyster Bar that the extract you point to refers.

However . . .

You are doing the current establishment a disservice. The premises re-opened at Easter this year as the Oyster Brewery with a new landlord who also runs a microbrewery on the premises. The food is excellent, and so is Andy's ale.

Oyster Brewery, Seil

Aaaaaaahhhhhhhhh - so that's the "new" place that you're allowed in.

Well with the way the weather is, I might just motor up and try it some weekend. I've passed on your comments to the talking review at panavox.

Looking out the window, I might just do it this weekend. Sailing doesn't look an attractive option: ..........perhaps gale 8 later..... showers then rain.......... moderate building rough, perhaps very rough later in North Channel.

I can concur with Webcraft's comments on the Oyster Brewery by Easdale. Also suggest a stop en-route at the Tigh an Truish pub by the "Bridge across the Atlantic" - friendly service, good guest real ales and decent food at a reasonable price.
