This looks like a great event... Has anyone been to previous events? Can more modern boats go to spectate etc and still get berths?

I am going to call the organisers and see..

I went down to Milford for the start of the tallships race a few years back. You may struggle to get a marina berth but theres loads of places you can anchor.

Yes, thats the one. It is around the time when I was planning a weeks sailing up in Milford haven. The reports from previous events seem to show a lot of boats registered and some nice ones too.

I have emailed the organisers so will update the link when I get a response.
