Would somebody be kind enough to explain if DN 32, PN 30, i6 CR, made in Italy (the worrying bit!) in ecs packaging with DZR on the packet comes under either...

a) You will be changing them again in 3 years time.

b) Top notch, market leader, can't buy better.

c) Boat sunk, insurance claim needed.

I had a quick YBW search and unfortunately forum member Seacock appears a lot...so apologies for raising again!

Any info gratefully received.

DN and PN relate to dimensions and pressure rating I think you will find (1¼" and 30 bar)

No idea about i6 CR

Made in Italy .. some foreign country... far east maybe :) Been in the news recently though.

DZR = dezincification resistant brass. Nearly as good as bronze,

Thanks for the info so far chaps. There was a brilliant article in one of the mags recently explaining all these codes and showing seacocks packaged hiding the stamped on info.

Unfortunately I think it had an early date with the recycler!

If it had a nice photo on the cover with no coverlines you would probably have saved it :)
